The following are some of the main functions of the Human Resources Management Team.

  • Performs tasks to meet manpower needs;

  •  Protects the social security rights of employees
  • Completes the necessary forms and allows employees to obtain a pension identification number;
  •  Employees who are not eligible for retirement due to not meeting the age requirement will be recognized with a retirement certificate;
  • Employees with less than 10 years of service who terminate their employment due to death, illness, voluntary resignation, or incapacity shall have their rights respected by submitting information to the Social Security Office;
  •  Handles complaints submitted by users in accordance with the Consumer Complaint Handling Directive No. 5/2016;
  •  Enhances the working capacity of employees through education, short training and exchange of experiences.
  •  In the case of employees who have been found to be violating ethics, the teacher shall take corrective action according to the severity of the offense and make them a qualified citizen for the next time, in accordance with the provisions of the Discipline, Complaint, and Enforcement Directive No. 2/2016;
  •  Provides employees with a pledge/guarantor regarding the government funds, property, documents, and assets they hold in accordance with Directive No. 66/2017 on the Securities and Exchange System, according to their job description;
  •  Employees who are hired from another institution to the college; Ensure that employees who come on a transfer basis are provided with a clearance from the previous department instead of being assigned;
  •  The workplace will be comfortable for employees;
  • Facilitate arrangements for an employee who has been injured while at work or as a result of being injured by a vehicle assigned to work, or as a result of leaving the office for work purposes, in accordance with Article 55(1) (a) (c) of the Labour Proclamation No. 60/2016;
  •  Employees who have been transferred, relocated, or promoted will submit their assignment to the Office of the Attorney General when their accuracy is confirmed and approved;
  •  Organizes and disseminates human resources personnel information, and ensures timely submission to the Department of Agriculture and Statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture;
  •  Plans, monitors, and evaluates human resource activities;
  •  Organizes and maintains the structures approved for the institution
  • Personnel Management Manual provides training to employees;
  • Works in cooperation with the Human Resources of the southern EthiopiaRegional Public Service, the southern EthiopiaRegional Social Security Agency, and the southern EthiopiaRegional Agriculture Bureau;
  • Submits a report on human resources activities to the college and carries out additional tasks from the college;
